Engaged by the renowned house of Gübelin, THE HUMM AGENCY co-organizes the Lucerne Symphony Ball together with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, curating the guest experience and ensuring a seamless evening where every detail reflects sophistication and purpose.
The Lucerne Symphony Ball is a glamorous highlight of Lucerne’s cultural calendar, where music, elegance, and philanthropy come together in an unforgettable evening at the iconic KKL Luzern. Hosted by Gübelin and the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra—Switzerland’s oldest orchestra, founded in 1806—the ball welcomes up to 380 guests from across Switzerland, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity and celebration.
The evening traditionally begins with a champagne reception, followed by an exquisite gala dinner created by a Michelin-starred chef, offering guests a culinary experience that complements the excellence of the orchestra. Live performances and a festive atmosphere set the stage for dancing into the night, making the ball not only a cultural celebration but also a true feast for the senses.
Beyond its elegance, the Lucerne Symphony Ball serves a meaningful purpose: each year, significant funds are raised in support of the orchestra’s artistic projects and youth development programs—ensuring that music’s transformative power continues to inspire future generations.
